Klemperer – Beethoven Cycle (Blue Ray)

Fifty years ago, in May and June 1970, Otto Klemperer, the first Principal Conductor of the Philharmonia Orchestra (then New Philharmonia Orchestra) conducted a Cycle of Beethoven’s symphonies at the Royal Festival Hall. Every performance was captured live for broadcast by the BBC, and has been reconstructed for Blu-ray disc in this special box set release, produced in partnership with the Otto Klemperer Film Foundation
